Paymira is a Swiss fintech startup revolutionizing payroll for small and medium-sized businesses. From the very beginning, I worked on the full visual and product design, from branding to UI, in close collaboration with Martin Kunzi from Mosaik Partners (www.mosaik.partners), who led the strategic direction and tone of voice. The main challenge was to take a complex, regulated financial process and make it feel human, trustworthy, and easy to use. The identity had to reflect confidence and clarity while staying friendly and accessible for SMEs and their employees.
We set a clear and calm visual tone, using generous spacing, soft colors, and minimal layouts. The goal was to avoid corporate or overly technical aesthetics, and instead focus on approachability, simplicity, and control. Friendly iconography and illustrations help explain each step, making the experience feel smooth and guided.
The logo and visual identity were built from scratch. The brandmark is made of multiple checkmark-like shapes, a nod to approvals, signatures, and task completion, with one larger form symbolizing leadership and trust. This idea reflects how Paymira brings structure and clarity to payroll processes. The design system includes a clean typographic approach, clear color hierarchy, and a UI kit designed to be modular and scalable.
The identity was applied across the product interface, marketing site, onboarding flows, emails, and internal documents. Each element was designed to reduce friction, guide users step by step, and build trust throughout the payroll experience. Small UI animations and thoughtful content help bring warmth to what’s usually a cold process.
Paymira now has a strong, friendly, and confident brand presence, designed to support growth while staying clear and human. The result is a product that simplifies payroll for businesses and their teams, turning a technical service into an intuitive, reassuring experience.
